This is an 821 feet tall, 57-story skyscraper and the tallest structure in Tribeca. Architects Herzog & de Meuron describe the building as "houses stacked in the sky." Height: 796 feet. The firm designed the De Young Museum in San Francisco.
The foreground tower is 8 Spruce Street (aka "New York by Gehry") between William and Nassau Streets: 904-units rise above a K-8 public school that occupies the first five floors of the building.
