PRAGUE 2006: Charles Bridge

Pedestrian bridge, 516 m. long, with 16 arches built of sandstone. Completed 1383; not quite straight. Crosses Vltava (Moldau) east-to-west. Remarkable for the Baroque sculptures (1683-1714) that line both sides of the bridge.
