6-A few Saigon buildings
The former Presidential Palace of South Vietnam (1966), the Saigon Post Office, current US consulate, and Notre Dame Cathedral (1880). The post office was built early in the 20th century when Vietnam was part of French Indochina. It was designed and constructed in the Gothic style by the French architect/engineer Gustave Eiffel.
