Washington DC 2017

After my trip to Manhattan, I stopped to visit my boyhood best friend, Nick Heffter, in Bethesda, Maryland. I was best man at Nick's wedding. We spent the better part of a day in DC where I snapped photos of some federal buildings and large-scale sculpture.

    At the Hirshhorn Museum. Made in Mexico out of lava stone from the Xitle volcano in Mexico, acrylic paint, and a 1992 Dodge Spirit—a car that Durham says “is the fastest and roughest on the road, used by both the police and crooks all over Mexico at the time.”
